Get playing, interacting, and experimenting by creating massive bubbles to learn the basics of water surface tension. With the pull of a rope, users raise a horizontal bubble wand from a pool of soapy water. The soap weakens the surface tension that typically binds water molecules. When the bubble wand rises between a set of guide ropes, the weakened surface tension is stretched into a thin film — or “curtain” — of bubble solution. Guests can blow on the curtain to release pieces of the soapy film. Surface tension snaps the piece into the smallest possible shape around the nearby air to form a floating, spherical bubble.
